Bio:
David Gibson is an independent curator and critic who hails both from New York the place and New York the art world. He has been actively curating exhibitions since 2000, including most recently “Culture Vulture” at Jack the Pelican Presents, “Everland” at Annina Nosei, and “Beautful Dreamer” at Spaces Inc in Cleveland, Ohio. His last article was on Mike Cockrill for www.wburg.com and he has been writing catalogue essays for Carla Gannis, Peter Barrett, Thomas Frontini, and others. Robert Grant
Robert Grant is a painter with an art historical and theatrical background that informs his work with a piquant sense of whimsy. He worked as a child actor in musicals and television including the PBS series "The Electric Company." Grant's paintings have been featured at PS 122 gallery and in a recent solo show at Realform Project Space. Currently his work is also included in "Winter in Milan" at Gallery 128.

Marcy Brafman
Marcy Brafman is a painter who was born and raised in Brooklyn. Her current homebase is Manhattan overlooking the scenic Holland Tunnel,where she is concerned with all kinds of images, from the silly to the sublime. Her work is currently on display in the exhibit "War What is it Good For?" at Lake Erie College in Lakeville Ohio, and will be shown in March in the exhibit "Native Spirit" which is being curated by David Gibson, the curator of this part of Homebase.

Diane Apostolacus
For the past twelve years Diane Apostolacus has been painting in encaustics. Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, Brooklyn, NY has been her home for the past fifteen years since graduating from Alfred University with a B.F.A. in 1987. Throughout many different creative interests such as photography, collages, printmaking and book art constructions, Diane has remained most devoted to encaustics.
